Tim Olive/Nisikawa Buhnsho.
The first CD release from Gule Disk.
Recorded in Osaka in late 2003 (and early 2004 - we lied a bit on the cover).
Tim Olive playing a one-string electric bass guitar.
Nisikawa Buhnsho with an electric guitar and a broken record player.
We had fun recording this.
A bunch of time spent in a huge glass-wall room atop a vertical amusement park,
a roller coaster regularly banking past, eight floors above street level,
looking out on Osaka: neon suspended over every possible grey.
Osaka is a big part of this cd.
Though born elsewhere (Saskatchewan, Kagawa), we've both spent a lot of time here,
both involved in Osaka noisy rocky stuff,
as well as playing with folks from elsewhere
(Jeff Allport, Otomo Yoshihide, Martin Tetreault, Sugimoto Taku, Unami Taku).
All of that (and hopefully, a bit more) is in here.
